Aleksander, IMAT tutor and top-20 Europe scorer

Alex

3rd year medical student at Università di Roma La Sapienza, StudyIMAT CEO

Alex scored 20th in Europe on the IMAT - 2nd at Sapienza, top 100 globally.

He's been tutoring since before Study IMAT existed - over 100 students, across every IMAT subject. In 2022 he founded StudySmart, a student project on effective study methods. At Sapienza he carries a 99% average, so what he teaches isn't just exam strategy. It's the real thing.

He explains with analogies, not monologues. He asks questions instead of reading slides, his lessons are not lectures. All while being on WhatsApp throughout your entire prep - because that's just how he works.

"I don't want my lessons to feel like a punishment. I want them to feel like the most useful hour of your week."

Juliette, IMAT Biology and Chemistry tutor at Sapienza

Juliette

3rd year medical student at Università di Roma La Sapienza

Juliette didn't take the easy route. While preparing for IMAT she was simultaneously sitting the French PASS and the Belgian medical entrance exam. She passed all three.

She's now top of her class at Sapienza, teaches in French, English, and Italian, and specialises in Biology and Chemistry - the sections most students think they can handle alone until they're staring at a paper they can't finish.

She has a way of making complicated content feel obvious in hindsight. No fluff, no wasted time - just the things that actually show up on the exam and why they work the way they do.

Who teaches you matters.

A lot.
