Your rate is locked. After a package, any extra hours are billed at that package's hourly rate, not at the single-lesson price.
Most students need at least 50 hours. Full preparation usually means 2 to 3 hours a week. The smaller packages suit one weak section or a top-up. The 3 instalments are due before the first lesson, then 15 and 30 days later, and each one unlocks the next block of hours.
Studying with a friend? Pair lessons are €45 per person per hour. Same material, with the pace set for both of you. Small groups of up to five are possible too: message us for the rate.
Single lessons are paid at least 24 hours before the lesson. Packages are paid in advance. Payment is by bank transfer in euro or złoty, and hours are valid until the IMAT 2027 exam.

What we cover
Every section, weighted like the exam
Biology, 23 questions
The biggest section. Cell, genetics, human physiology, metabolism. Where most of your marks are.
Chemistry, 15 questions
Stoichiometry, acids and bases, organic basics. Very learnable. Marks usually go to arithmetic under time pressure, not to the chemistry.
Physics and Maths, 13 questions
Fewer questions, but this is where borderline rankings get decided. Most candidates leave it until last.
Logic, 5 questions
Not taught at school anywhere. Which also makes it the fastest part to improve.
Reading and general knowledge, 4 questions
Short passages and general questions. Mostly about speed and not overthinking.
We work on whatever is costing you marks. Some students want everything. Some need Physics and nothing else. We'll know which after the first lesson.

Quick questions on last week's topics. Not to catch you out, but to find what's gone. If something hasn't stuck, it comes back and we do it again. That's the difference between attending lessons and being ready in September.

You try first. Then we take it apart: why that answer, why not the other one and what was built into the question to mislead you.

Not the whole topic. The one idea behind the mistake, with a comparison or an analogy so it has something to stick to.

Which kind of help do you actually need?
A self-study platform
Videos, question banks, sometimes an AI tutor. Cheaper than us, and fine if you're disciplined and already know what you're getting wrong.
A study-abroad agency
The IMAT is one product on a long list. Usually sold as a package with application services, and you rarely know who will teach you.
Us
Two people who sat this exam and study at Sapienza. Live lessons on what you're getting wrong, your mocks read by a person, WhatsApp between lessons.
If you're disciplined and your mock scores are climbing, a self-study platform is cheaper and will do the job. We'd rather tell you that than sell you hours you don't need.

How billing works
Single lessons are paid at least 24 hours before the lesson. Packages are paid in advance. Payment is by bank transfer, in euro or złoty. The 50-hour package can be split into 3 interest-free instalments, 15 days apart. Extra hours after a package stay at that package's rate.

What people ask before booking

As early as you can. The earlier you start, the fewer hours you need, so starting sooner usually costs less overall.

For full preparation, at least 50 hours, usually 2 to 3 a week. That's why the 50-hour package is the main one. If only one section is weak, a smaller package can be enough. We'll tell you which in the free lesson and we'd rather say "you need fewer" and be believed.

That's the most common situation we see. It's fixable and it's why Physics preparation and planning goes early in your plan, not last.

No. Plenty of our students didn't have it. It's a question of planning and discipline that anyone can achieve.

English, because the exam is. Every term you learn is the one you'll see on the paper. If something doesn't click, we explain it another way, with simpler words, a comparison or a drawing, until it does.
